Bartender Sports Bar (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment.
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Maintain compliance with ACES Service Program guidelines.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary.
• Promote gaming events and promotions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions with integrity.
• Prepare and pour drinks with proper portions and following recipes.
• Maintain par levels of garnishes, ice, mixers, and fresh fruits/herbs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and stocked workstation or section.
• Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
• Make drinks for servers and assist with table service, clearing tables, expediting food, and side work.
• Work special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding of drink mixology and recipes.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
• Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions from supervisors or managers.
• Ability to qualify for licensing by the Ohio Lottery Commission.
• Team player with a guest-first attitude.
• Tolerant of a high-stimulus environment.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• One-year cumulative experience as a bartender, bar back, or server, or completion of bartending school with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Reasonable decision-making ability regarding patron and team member interactions.
• Ability to pass a background check.
