Bartender / Server (part time)

About the role

In this role as Bartender, you will serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, to prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the bar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar, which includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet
• Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
• Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions using the point of sale to create a check for each guest to maintain accountability of all beverages served

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a Bartender
• Food handler and TIPS certification (or equivalent)
• Passion for the hospitality industry and pride in providing guests with superior customer service and memorable experiences
• Flexibility to work a variety of different days, evenings and weekends
