Bartender/Server – Leadership Opportunity at The Howe

About the role

The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender/Server who is available for evening, weekend, and brunch shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and be open to occasional training to support the restaurant as a shift supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Create and serve handcrafted cocktails and local brews
• Provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations
• Build lasting connections with guests in a lively and welcoming atmosphere
• Lead by example, coordinating shifts and supporting staff development
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain service standards
• Address guest concerns professionally and foster a positive team environment
• Work closely with both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure efficient service and excellent communication

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Previous bartending and hospitality experience preferred
• Leadership experience a plus
