About the Role
As a Bartender/Mixologist, you’ll craft classic and creative beverages while delivering exceptional service in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll engage with guests, manage bar inventory, and ensure a clean, organized bar environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and a flair for mixology.
This position reports to the Beverage Manager or Bar Supervisor and can lead to opportunities as a bar manager, sommelier, or food and beverage manager, making it an excellent choice for those passionate about the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Mix and serve classic and innovative cocktails to delight guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service in a high-paced environment
- Manage bar inventory and engage with guests
Requirements
- 5 years of experience working in a high-paced bar environment
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education and/or literacy to read product labels and communicate with guests
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required (with or without reasonable accommodations)
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence
Hotel experience and special certifications (e.g., bartender certification) are a plus.
