About the role

Mission Yogurt is seeking an experienced, driven, and hospitality-focused bartender to join our team at our award-winning Root Down DIA location. The Bartender prepares and serves quality beverages, provides excellent guest service, maintains a clean bar area, and follows all safety and alcohol service guidelines while supporting a positive team environment. Root Down is a high-volume location, so we are looking for an experienced bartender who has worked in high-volume, full-service restaurants before. This position requires open availability.

Pay

$16.27/hr plus tips.

Requirements

  • At least three years of bartending experience
  • Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants
  • Open availability
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve quality alcoholic beverages, ensuring portioning, taste, and quality meet company and customer standards
  • Take guests' drink orders at the dining room and/or bar counter and enter them into the POS system
  • Deliver food and drink orders to customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter and assigned working areas, including tables, chairs, trash cans, bar equipment, floors, and walls
  • Stock all necessary products during and at the end of the shift to ensure the next shift is set for success
  • Provide exceptional service to guests to ensure satisfaction with high-quality products and services
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
  • Climbing, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs.
