Position Summary

The Bartender Staff are integral to the patron experience, ensuring smooth operations and creating an inviting atmosphere. This role involves setting up and breaking down the bar and concession inventory, serving patrons, and managing cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and deliver exceptional service
• Accurately take drink and food orders, prepare, and serve beverages
• Manage cash transactions and report accurately
• Collaborate with the Event Manager for setup and breakdown logistics
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the service area
• Recommend and sell featured or specialty drinks
• Occasionally work as a cocktail server
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service regulations
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of bartending experience in high-volume or event-based settings
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., T.I.P.S.)
• Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds unassisted
• Proficiency with modern POS systems and accurate cash management
• Experience in bar maintenance, inventory rotation, and supply management
• Open availability for peak shifts, including nights and weekends

Preferred

• English, plus multilingual skills in Spanish, Portuguese, Kriolu, Haitian Creole, or K’iche
