Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes drink and food order
• Provides information about menu items and looks for opportunity for additional sales
• Mixes beverages accurately according to recipes and directions
• Processes transactions through the POS system
• Responds appropriately to customer concerns
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and deal with intoxicated guests
• Safeguards the cleanliness, sanitation, and stock level of the bar
• Fulfills inventory needs and orders replacement items as necessary
• Builds guest loyalty and enhances selling skills using available training materials
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards, including sweeping and mopping
• Complies with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food safety guidelines
• Works various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
• Communicates effectively and maintains excellent customer service skills
• Adapts to changing priorities and unexpected situations
• Handles various tasks with self-starter ability and prioritization

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One year experience bartending required
• Knowledge of math for cost calculation, making change, and cash handling
• Good communication and independent working abilities
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment in customer interactions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic mathematics
