Greetings and Orders

Greets guests immediately. Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.

Customer Interaction

• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Maintains clean and sanitary bar area
• Resolves guest complaints

Service Standards

• Engages in proactive greeting of team members and guests
• Uses positive parting remarks to end conversations

Alcohol Awareness

• Maintains awareness of guest alcohol consumption
• Acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines

Financial Management

• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies

Cleaning and Sanitation

• Washes glasses

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent (three or more years of related experience preferred)
• Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Able to count
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Work Environment

• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions
• Able to work in a noisy and smoky environment
