Bartender - Hop House

About the Role

Join Mystic Lakes Casino’s newest outlet, Hop House as a Bartender in a fast-paced and fun entertainment scene. You’ll prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, handle payments, maintain stock and cleanliness, and deliver exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Take guest drink orders, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes and procedures.
• Operate P.O.S. system to process food and beverage charges.
• Handle cash, checks, currency, credit cards, gift certificates, complimentaries, and tips.
• Operate credit card validation equipment (automated and manual).
• Set up and stock the bar prior to opening; prepare garnishes and request supplies as needed.
• Maintain and clean bar area and equipment; lock up according to prescribed procedures.
• Assist Bar Back or dish/kitchen staff in maintaining and organizing glassware and bar supplies.
• Observe all responsible alcohol service guidelines; prohibit sale of alcohol to underage or intoxicated guests.
• Interact with guests to ensure exceptional service and resolve complaints.
• Answer guests’ questions and provide casino information.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Any combination of bartending experience and/or bartending education totaling one year; or successful completion of internal bartending training period.
• Ability to work a varying schedule.
• Knowledge of point of sales systems is a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Alcohol Awareness rules and regulations.
