Responsibilities
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance;
- Arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads-up, ready-to-serve attitude.
- Keeps personal phones “backstage” in non-guest areas.
- Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Provides wine, liquor and related bar service to guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
- Prepares/mixes drinks accurately according to prescribed recipes.
- Registers beverage-related transactions, handles cash, room charges and complimentary tickets according to procedures and guidelines established by management.
- Accounts for assigned bank, all money received and all transactions recorded during shift.
- Ensures assigned bar is stocked with all supplies and liquor while completing other tasks and related job duties assigned.
- Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass background check.
- Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
- Must obtain required food handlers permit.
- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping.
