Bartender - Fat Tuesday - Part Time

Responsibilities
- Complete all the required duties upon the opening and closing of the bar.
- Provide courteous service of frozen daiquiris and beverages, including offering samples of frozen daiquiris as well as suggesting other beverage items.
- Stock and maintain the bar area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Clean, sanitize, and lubricate daiquiri freezers according to designated schedule and instruction.
- Greet guests seated in the bar area or standing at the bar in a friendly manner, creating an upbeat, fun environment.
- Take drink orders and serve promptly, checking I.D.’s for proof of age and following all company and state guidelines regarding Responsible Serving.
- Make all drinks accurately, according to recipe, including daiquiri batch production, in the proper cup with the proper garnish.
- Slice and pit fruit as required.
- Prepare and deliver guest food orders according to established guidelines as needed.
- Maintain guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
- Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appear in publicity photos.
- Promote casino events and programs.
- Provide personalized service and use guest names.
- Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
- Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
- Operate a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; account for all cash; maintain integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
- Work well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, bar, and other guest areas.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course; previous bar experience preferred.
- Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
- Excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Count money and change correctly.
- Knows cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques.
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Maintain professional appearance as prescribed by company policy.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
