Bartender - Dinner & Weekend Shifts

Responsibilities

• Treat Guests with first-class service and incredible hospitality.
• Ensure a good Guest experience by presenting the drink menu, making recommendations, answering questions about food and beverages, taking orders, promptly serving food and drink, and checking in with Guests regarding their experience.
• Up-sell whenever possible.
• Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS; accept and process Guest payment and make the correct change as applicable.
• Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant.
• Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) always.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Wash and sterilize glassware as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers.
• Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
