About the role
At Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, we bring together spacious rooms, stunning mountain views, outdoor amenities, and exceptional dining in the heart of downtown, setting a new standard in hospitality. As a Bartender, you’ll proudly represent the Hyatt Regency brand and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests every day. You’ll be responsible for providing libations, offering customized recommendations, and maintaining an attractive bar with a focus on mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards.
This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity, and allows you to build on your style and previous bartending experiences. Our lobby bar and lounge, Contribution Lounge, is the perfect spot to unwind over locally inspired craft cocktails and shared small plates with colleagues or friends.
Responsibilities
- Provide libations and customized drink recommendations to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest in mixology and bar equipment.
- Uphold high sanitation standards and ensure an attractive bar presentation.
- Understand and adhere to state and local serving guidelines.
- Engage in casual conversation and create meaningful guest experiences.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
