Indian Wells Golf Resort, located in Indian Wells, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Bartender. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Role Type
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
Pay Range
$16.00 - $16.90
General Purpose
Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages
- Aids in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records
- Aids in the creation of seasonal cocktails and menu development
- Aids in social media scheduling and content creation
- Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
- Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
- Performs opening and closing duties that include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
- Accounts for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sale System
- Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
- Serves catered parties from service or portable bars
- On occasion serves meals to guests
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS)

- Frequently stands, walks, talks, listens, and uses hands
- Regularly reaches with hands and arms
- Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits
- Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds
