About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has a deep understanding of drink preparation and presentation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to our recipes and standards
• Provide exceptional service to guests, including greeting customers, taking drink orders, and engaging in friendly conversation
• Stay informed about our drink menu, including seasonal offerings and promotional items, to provide recommendations to guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering and restocking as necessary, and track drink ingredients and supplies
• Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor regulations, ensuring that all practices comply with local and state laws
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless service and support during peak times

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment
• Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid bartender's license or certification, as required by local regulations
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed
