Bartender

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter food orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
• Deliver exceptional guest service in accordance with Marriott’s brand standards
• Mix and match ingredients to create both classic and innovative cocktails
• Engage with hotel guests and ensure they enjoy an exceptional experience at the bar and lounge
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner; take orders and serve drinks and food
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations
• Prepare and mix drinks in accordance with Marriott’s brand-standard drink menu and service requirements
• Demonstrate the ability to craft high-quality cocktails and other beverages using provided ingredients
• Check customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Restock and maintain bar inventory, supplies, alongside workstation cleanliness
• When the cook position is not staffed, prepare menu items in accordance with kitchen and food-safety standards

Qualifications

• Skilled at mixing and matching ingredients to create both classic and innovative cocktails
• Ability to craft high-quality cocktails and other beverages using provided ingredients
• Knowledge of Marriott’s brand-standard drink menu and service requirements
• Ability to assess customers’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations
• Ability to check customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Experience preparing menu items in accordance with kitchen and food-safety standards
