About the role
This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.
Responsibilities
- Help Operates a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets.
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock.
- Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary conditions.
- Performs Other Related Duties As Required.
Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute charges and make change quickly and accurately.
- Must possess working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
- Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary.
- Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
- A Minimum Of Six Months Experience Is Strongly Preferred.
