Job Summary
This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.

Qualifications
- Must pass all applicable records and background check.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Starting May 7, 2025, non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRMA Installations.
Responsibilities
- Set up bar for operation, including garnishes for mixed drinks.
- Mix and serve a limited variety of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes.
- Serve patrons directly, receive payment, operate cash register, make and return change to the patron.
- Complete the Daily Activity Report (DAR) at the close of facility, verify amount of money collected, and drop the cashier bag into the safe.
- Perform basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washes bar equipment, glassware, utensils, etc. to maintain a constant and clean working area.
- Ensure all current sanitation requirements are followed and maintained.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute charges and make change quickly and accurately.
- Working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
- Mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary.
- Working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
- A minimum of six months experience is strongly preferred.
Benefits
Salary: $19.09 - $19.09 per hour
Shift Differential: 7.5% for majority of hours worked after 3pm, Sunday Premium 25%, OT for hours worked over 8 per day/40 per week
