Bartender
Position Summary
Jimbo's Diner in La Vista, 7101 So. 84th Street, has an excellent opportunity for bartenders in our high volume, full-service restaurant & bar. We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and energetic candidates as this position is responsible for ensuring guests’ enjoyment. The Bartender should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Be guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing. Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to the job. Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment.
About the Role
The Bartender will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities include greeting customers, serving drinks, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests promptly and courteously
- Serve drinks according to customer orders and beverage standards
- Manage inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments
- Adapt to changing situations and maintain composure
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience in a fast-paced service environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for those who drive)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Qualifications

- Knowledge of mixed drinks and cocktail preparation
