Bartender - AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk

About the role

AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is a premier sport, recreation and entertainment destination focused on improving the health and economic vitality of Overland Park, Kansas. Primary responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
• Interacting with customers, taking drink orders, and serving drinks
• Operate a point of sale system
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Ensure bar areas are clean and well presented
• Support corporate events
• Any additional tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
• Work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment
• One year of customer service experience with general public preferred
• Prior bar tending and food & beverage experience preferred
• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
• Must be TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or Alcohol Seller-Server certified. Certification must be current and is required to have prior to a start date
• Must be 21 years of age

Working conditions and physical demands

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Facility has intermittent noise
