Barrel Cell - CNC Operations II

About the role

Milacron is seeking a CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Mount Orab, OH.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines per blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, speeds, feeds, and machine settings.
• Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot issues during production.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and follow all safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• One or more years of hands-on CNC machining experience, completion of a machining certificate program, or a combination of training and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (11pm–7am) and train on 1st shift as required.

Nice to have

• Experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with routine machine maintenance and inspection tools.
• Basic proficiency with standard computer applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
