Barista, Part-Time - Sun & Waves Market

About the role

Faherty Brand is seeking experienced Baristas to join their team at Sun & Waves, an all-day kitchen and market in Spring Lake, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel at home with quality service and careful presentation
• Engage, build rapport, listen, and provide friendly, timely service
• Learn and understand brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques
• Create a welcoming environment for all customers
• Ensure a clean and tidy environment
• Execute all operational standards correctly, in a timely manner, and in accordance with cafe standards, safety, and health codes
• Maintain appearance and hygiene of workspace according to standards

Requirements

• Able to work morning or night shifts, including early mornings (6-7am)
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Able to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods

Pay

$19—$23 USD per hour

Schedule

Available when the cafe is open, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
