Description Barista Description The role of a barista extends beyond just making coffee. At Lori’s Recharged, you will provide a trusted place for joy and support when people need it most. You will provide products and services that nurture, inspire, and comfort. As a Barista in our Recharged coffee shops, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and engaging from the heart while creating and serving delicious beverages. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by practicing GUEST standards (Greet, Understand, Educate, Suggest, and Thank)Take guest orders and process payments using the point of sale (POS)Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothiesPrepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and saladsEnsure cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and utensilsFollow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beveragesMaintain inventory of supplies and restock as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Note: This summary is not exhaustive and may be adjusted to meet operational needs in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
