Barista (Part-Time)

About the role

Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as a Barista at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, this property has completed a renovation and up-branding from Regency to Grand, featuring 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues. The Barista will provide service in Camino Springs Market, the resort’s coffee shop, preparing food and beverages in accordance with menu standards while maintaining a welcoming and clean environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverages following menu standards
• Process payments using the POS system
• Restock product shelves and sell retail merchandise
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Riverside County Food Handler's license must be obtained

Pay

The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.00, with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.
