Barista Part Time

A Barista is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other café offerings. This role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area, including beverage stations, display cases, and seating areas. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products, supplies, and ingredients. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Support the preparation and presentation of pastries, grab-and-go items, and other café offerings. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and outstanding guest satisfaction. Address guest questions and concerns professionally, resolving issues in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous barista, food and beverage, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
