Barista - Part Time

About the Role

Culver Academies is seeking a Barista to join our team. As a private boarding school, we enroll students from across the United States and around the world, and we are committed to fostering a diverse and enriching learning environment. Our campus, located on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana, spans 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, featuring historic Gothic architecture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty hot and cold coffee drinks, such as espresso, cappuccino, mocha, and café latte.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Follow specific recipes for beverage preparation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate the cash register.
• Assist with maintaining an ample supply inventory for daily operations.

Requirements

• Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people comfortably.
• High School Diploma required.
• On-the-job training will be provided, including safe use of coffee machines, grinding procedures, and preparation of specialty drinks.
