About the role
Responsible for preparing coffee shop beverages and food, operating cash registers, and delivering courteous customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare beverages and food items following established standards and procedures.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle various payment methods securely.
- Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise displays and inventory.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Communicate store programs, promotions, and customer service initiatives effectively.
- Follow safety, security, and PPE guidelines and assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail or food service preferred.
- Good verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments, including exposure to outside weather and retail noise levels.
