About the role

This part‑time Barista position at Lodge Kohler’s Leaps and Bounds Café focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced, customer‑service environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, courteous service that exceeds expectations.
• Assist in preparing café menu items according to procedure.
• Support breakfast room service orders.
• Accurately capture all sales and settlements in the cash register.
• Handle reconciliation of sales and payments per standard operating procedures.
• Monitor freshness of food products to meet quality standards.
• Explain café policies to members and guests and enforce café rules, including SOPs, accident protocols, age restrictions, and complaint handling.
• Answer telephone calls and take messages as needed.
• Maintain an orderly, neat appearance of the register area and all other store areas.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and equipment‑use standards.
• Food‑service experience and an understanding of inventory (preferred).
• Learn to Serve on‑site certification.
• Bartending license (required).
• Ability to lift 15 + pounds.
• Cashier experience (preferred).
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

Hourly range: $11.30 – $16.90 plus tips/gratuity. The specific rate may vary based on experience, education, and work location.

Schedule

Part‑time shifts ranging from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm on weekdays and weekends. Additional assistance needed on weekends, holidays, and during Packer games in the fall season.
