Barista Full Time

About the role

We are hiring baristas for our roastery/shop location in the Miramar / Mira Mesa area. The position involves cross‑training between front‑of‑house barista duties and kitchen/assembly work, with a continued focus on delivering excellent coffee and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks with a genuine, caring attitude.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, moving quickly and multitasking.
• Assist in kitchen/assembly tasks as needed, supporting both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Requirements

• At least 6 months to 1 year of barista experience is ideal, but candidates without experience are welcome if they show the right attitude.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts Monday‑Sunday, including openings and closings.
• Weekend availability is required; applicants must be able to work Sundays.
• Desired traits: self‑motivated, reliable, able to multitask, and provide service with a smile.

Skills

• Familiarity with specialty coffee preparation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments (e.g., sous chef, juicery, other high‑volume roles) is a plus.
• Capacity to learn kitchen/assembly tasks and adapt to cross‑training.

Schedule

• Shifts vary Monday through Sunday, ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
• Weekend work is required; Sunday availability is mandatory.
