About the role

The Barista plays a crucial role in Hotel Alpenrock's café, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality beverages. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a passion for serving others.

Responsibilities

• Honor each customer with excellent service and a high-quality product
• Provide consistent quality beverages for all customers
• Maintain quality store operations
• Contribute to store profitability
• Learn and master all aspects of the barista position

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications

• Ability to hear timers and coordinate with other baristas
• Ability to check food quality and read production charts/recipes
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner
• Able to use the cash register and collect money accurately
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Read, write, and communicate in English

USD $15.16 - USD $16.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Seasonal employment anticipated between July 1, 2026 and October 1, 2026, with flexibility based on business volume and operational needs. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
