BARISTA

About the role

LMNOP Bakery, located in Katonah, NY, a hub of community activity near the Metro North Station, is seeking energetic and enthusiastic baristas to join their Front of House team.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts
• Work quickly and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
• Have stamina for the duration of the shift while being on your feet with ample physical activity
• Learn and provide customers with details on LMNOP’s bread, pastry, and beverage menus
• Make and serve beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods in a high-volume environment
• Show strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and fellow staff members
• Take on tasks to keep the bakery running smoothly and beautifully, including but not limited to, inventory management, cleaning, clearing and washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, restocking, and organizing storage areas
• Complete food handlers license and allergen training course within 2 weeks of your start date, and learn all health, food safety, and safety guidelines
• Promote a safe and respectful working environment
• Be available for weekends and holidays

Requirements

No prior experience in hospitality and food industry is necessary, just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay
