Qualifications

  • 6 months guest service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Passion for providing extraordinary service
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit
  • NRWC pre-employment testing
  • Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
  • 1 year guest service experience in the Hospitality Industry (preferred)
  • 3 months experience with a P.O.S. (Point of Sale) System (preferred)
  • 6-months Barista experience (preferred)

Essential Functions

  • Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
  • Accurately Input all orders into the POS System
  • Answering guests’ questions about products and services and providing recommendations based on guests needs
  • Process guest orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • If applicable delivers food orders promptly
  • Provide excellent guest service, resolving any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and beverages according to the Nisqually Grounds recipes and standards
  • Aid in food preparation, including to but no limited to heating and serving pre-made food items
  • Ensure strict food storage procedures are followed to prevent spoilage and contamination
  • Ensure that all products utilized in the FOH are labeled with appropriate dates and pricing
  • Answer incoming calls and provide appropriate service
  • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to all sanitation and safety control policies
  • Maintain a clean area
  • Stock grab and go display cases utilizing FIFO (First in- First out)
  • Clean tables after guests have left
  • Accurately reconcile cash drawers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
