About the role
Scissors & Scotch is the grooming experience every man deserves—where traditional barbering and modern spa services meet your favorite watering hole. Clients relax, get groomed, then enjoy a cocktail, coffee, or cold one in our upscale lounge. We’re looking for barbers & stylists with experience cutting men’s hair who enjoy their craft, embrace teamwork, and want to learn and grow their careers.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and styling services
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that blends grooming with hospitality
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, professional environment
Requirements
- Valid Tennessee Barber or Cosmetology license
- 4 days of paid training required prior to starting
Skills
- Proficiency in men’s haircutting and styling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting

Pay
$30.00 – $55.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level) plus commission on services and products sold; 100% of tips retained by barbers/stylists.
Schedule
- Brentwood (Hill Center): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Franklin (McEwen Northside): Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (must work Sunday)
