Barback - Hotel Renegade

About the role

As the Barback, you will assist the bartenders with service to keep the bar operational by stocking, cleaning, clearing, and maintaining great customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, mixers, and garnishes behind the bar
• Perform bussing duties such as clearing empty cups and trash from the bar top
• Use downtime to check with guests, fill waters, and address overall restaurant needs
• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the bar
• Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean glassware at all times
• Maintain table settings by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and anticipating customer needs
• Create a pleasurable dining experience for all guests

Requirements

• You are 18 years of age or older
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Basic math skills
• Legible handwriting
• Ability to work well with a team
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Frequently able to lift, carry, deliver, and serve from trays weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift
• High-volume experience is a must
• U.S. Work Authorization (required)

Qualifications

• Experience in barbacking and/or bussing (preferred)

Pay

$10.00 per hour
