About the role
The Bar Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the hotel’s bars, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through visible leadership, excellent product knowledge, and consistently high service standards. This is a hands-on operational role where the majority of time is spent serving guests, leading the team from the floor, and maintaining standards. Depending on business levels, the Bar Supervisor may be the sole bartender on duty or may lead and support a larger team during busy periods, functions, and events. A key priority is training, coaching, and developing colleagues to continually improve bar standards and lead the hotel’s bar table service operation.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on delivery and day-to-day supervision of the Garden Bar, Lounge Bar, and beverage service across the hotel.
- Training, coaching, and developing Food & Beverage team members to continually improve bar service standards.
- Taking the lead on bar table service, beverage quality, operational standards, and effective stock control.
