Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct specification, whether at the bar or via the customer app
• Deliver food to customers, ensure that check-backs are completed and clear plates within the required timeframe
• Provide friendly customer interactions: greet customers, thank them and build rapport
• Be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products
• Maintain our ‘clean as you go’ standards, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces and carrying out toilet checks
• Work in all areas, including glass-washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer garden clearing and other duties as needed

Progression and development

Most Wetherspoon team leaders and managers started in the kitchen or behind the bar. If you’re looking to progress, we can support your development with:

• Cross-training into other areas (kitchen, hotel)
