Responsibilities
- Take orders, prepare, dispense and serve drinks to the correct specification, whether at the bar or via the customer app
- Deliver food to customers, ensure that check-backs are completed and clear plates within the required timeframe
- Provide friendly customer interactions: greet customers, thank them and build rapport
- Be knowledgeable about promotions, events and new products
- Maintain our ‘clean as you go’ standards, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces and carrying out toilet checks
- Work across all areas as needed, including glass-washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer-garden clearing
Progression and development
Most Wetherspoon team leaders and managers started in the kitchen or behind the bar. If you’re looking to progress, we support your development with:
