Bar Porter

About the role

Cleans the bar area, including mats, floors, sinks, drains, and other bar appliances. Changes the soda bibs and stocks all beverage supplies in the designated area. Keeps areas clean, sanitary, and free of debris. Acknowledges, greets and converses in English with customers who approach the bar. Stocks the bar and self‑service stations as needed. Calls a designated slot employee when needed by a guest or bartender. Provides a safe work environment for employees and guests. All team members follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, proactively seeking opportunities to greet guests and fellow team members throughout the shift. Participates in all mandatory meetings and pre‑shift BUZZ sessions. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English, respond to visual and aural cues, and present a well‑groomed, professional appearance. Meets attendance guidelines and complies with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures. Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Adhere to attendance guidelines and comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one‑year customer service experience in a position with direct customer interaction (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, manually push 300 pounds, bend, pull, and carry stock to refrigerators and cabinets.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a smoke‑filled environment, including areas with second‑hand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
• Ability to work as a team player and get along with co‑workers.
• Must present a well‑groomed appearance.
