About the role
The Barback will provide friendly and excellent service to every guest as well as keep the bar area clean and stocked at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with the function and efficiency of the restaurant and bar
- Assist with running food, drinks, clearing and cleaning tables
- Ensure proper inventory of liquors, glassware, napkins, straws and garnishes
- Remove trash and keep bar areas unobstructed, clean and organized
- Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary
- Stock and refill ice
- Ensure proper stock of spirits, wines, and beer
- Polish and stock glassware
- Prepare, stock and replenish garnishes as needed
- Perform opening and closing tasks as specified
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Nightlife experience preferred
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
