Bar Back

About the Role

This role requires the Twin Peaks Bar Back to clean and maintain all aspects of the Twin Peaks bar and its beverage program. Each team member is defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline in maintaining the bar alongside the Twin Peaks Girl behind the bar.

Uniform Requirements

• Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times; brim never bent.
• Hair must be kept clean and underneath the TP hat.
• Clean shaven; beards and mustaches allowed but must be maintained.
• Fingernails must be kept trimmed.
• No jewelry in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists.
• No headphones or earbuds.
• Clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
• Belt is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to uniform standards.
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitized bar.
• Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Train using tablets or computers.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and mopping.
• Ensure the bar is always well-stocked.
• Change kegs, check taps, and confirm appliances are working and in good repair.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Back.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Understanding of policies and procedures for cleaning and sanitizing a restaurant.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Must attend orientation and agree to Twin Peaks policies and procedures.
• Must complete the training program before working unsupervised.
• Must complete any required food and/or alcohol service certifications.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and talk or hear.
• Must reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
