About Kampers Rooftop Bar

The Barback role at Kampers Rooftop Bar supports the bar's smooth operation by handling prep, restocking, cleanliness, and speed. This role is crucial for maintaining the bar's efficiency, consistency, and signature energy.

• Restock spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout service.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, organizing stations, and removing trash and recycling.
• Aid bartenders with prep tasks like cutting garnishes, batching cocktails, and replenishing inventory.
• Monitor bar flow and anticipate needs to keep service fast and efficient.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and station setup/breakdown.
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards while maintaining the rooftop’s polished, elevated atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or bar experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn bar operations.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working Conditions/Environment

• The person in this role may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach, and stretch for eight hours per day.
• Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
• The person in this role may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
