Banquet Support Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for managing daily banquet and in-house catering operations at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center. This role partners with sales and culinary teams to execute events, maintain facilities and inventory, and deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with Levy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute events, menus, and guest requests with strong attention to detail
• Oversee event setup, breakdown, and overall service quality
• Ensure team readiness and consistent guest service standards
• Cook up with departments and vendors for seamless event execution
• Build strong relationships and resolve guest service issues
• Controls
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Manage inventory, reporting, and operational planning
• Monitor labor and business levels to meet budget goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and financial knowledge
• Ability to work flexible, extended hours and meet physical job demands
