Banquet Server - On Call - Harrah's Gulf Coast

Essential Job Functions

• Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordance with the banquet function specifications.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs, counters, display shelves and storage as assigned.
• Performs all side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards.
• Clears tables when guests have completed their meals.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to participate in on-going training in the food and beverage field.
• Knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
• Able to work independently, with little supervision.
• Able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Able to adhere to uniform requirements.
