Responsibilities

• Serve menu offerings for events and assist guests as needed
• Table settings, food station design, and beverage service
• Room refreshes and overall banquet preparation
• Maintain knowledge of daily group functions, including times, locations, and guest counts
• Maintain knowledge of styles of meeting and banquet room setups
• Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
• Maintain knowledge of all hotel policies and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of all safety guidelines
• Wine service
• Attention to detail

Requirements

• Refined verbal communication skills
• Experience in taking care of guests in a fast-paced environment
• Current Food Handlers Card and RBS certified
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the property, including back-of-house and outdoor areas
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull as needed to support operational task
• Ability to respond quickly to operational needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings
• Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels typical of hotel operations
