About the role
Banquet servers at The Carolina Inn are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. Their duties include making the function space visually appealing, presenting the menu, setting up tables and the banquet hall, assisting with food preparation, serving appetizers and plated dinners, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work.
- Uniform must be neat and pressed.
- Keeps work station clean at all times.
- Set up tables and banquet hall before the event.
- Assist with food preparation before and during the event.
- Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests.
- Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Willing to work flexible schedule weekdays, weekends and holidays.
