Banquet Server-FT

About the role

Banquet servers at The Carolina Inn are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They ensure the visual appeal of the function space, present the menu offerings, set up tables and the banquet hall, assist with food preparation, and maintain a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and banquet hall before the event
• Aid in food preparation before and during the event
• Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely manner
• Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Qualifications

• Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work
• Uniform must be neat and pressed
• Keep work station clean at all times
