Banquet Server/Bartender, Part-Time or On-Call

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated Banquet Servers and Bartenders to join our team at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, Texas. Positions include part-time (8–29 hours per week) and on-call roles scheduled 100% based on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare banquet rooms for functions, including dropping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces
• Serve food and beverages to guests; clear tables and buss items to the kitchen
• Pick up food from the back hall, carry trays to function locations, and assist with clearing and tear-down
• Break down functions by bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and seats after guests are finished
• Perform food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and stocking workstations
• Clean back halls and organize storerooms
• Provide general property information and offer warm welcome/farewell to guests
• Interact professionally with staff and assist other departments as needed
• Banquet Bartender only: Set up and run banquet bar areas, prepare and serve drinks

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long periods depending on event requirements
• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs
• Pleasant and helpful personality
• Six months food and beverage experience preferred (not required)
• Banquet Bartender: Bartending knowledge preferred

Pay

$13/hr plus applicable tip payout ($13–$18 average per hour), paid biweekly.
