Banquet Server

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to guests during banquets, weddings, meetings, and special events. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and buffet stations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout service.
• Refill beverages, clear dishes, and anticipate guest needs.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Work closely with banquet captains, culinary staff, and fellow team members to ensure successful events.
• Tear down banquet rooms and properly store equipment after each event.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
