Banquet Server

Serving

Serving food and beverages in a prompt and professional manner.
Assisting in the set up and tear down of banquet-related equipment such as tables and table settings.
Maintaining a neat and clean atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring all contract requirements are met prior to the start of the event.
• Being attentive and removing plates once guest is finished, refilling water glasses as needed, and addressing any other guest requests.
• Adhering to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous server experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent people skills are required.
• You must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• You must be able to stand for long periods and walk.
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart that weighs up to 150 lbs.
• Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
