Banquet Server

About the role

As a Banquet Server, you’ll help create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service during events, meetings, and banquets. You'll set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Provide attentive and friendly service during hotel special events

You will report to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager. A career as a banquet server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as banquet captain, restaurant server, or even food and beverage management positions.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A warm, professional demeanor that reflects a positive attitude and friendly personality

Hotel experience is a plus, but applicants may qualify with a combination of education and experience.
